LoR and FoM
Weekly update.. but it's on Saturday evening. Good thing, I won't use "writing at bearblog" for procrastination excuse tomorrow.
Where we are.. Work, of course, it's boring. There's a case that pissed me off, but what's new (pain). Like, it should be a small problem that is considered petty, but the party involved won't make things easy. If only we could let go of mistakes happened only once...
This week I'm gaming, a lot. Finally I touched Library of Ruina. Already bought the game (also Lobotomy Corporation) since .... last year? I can't be more thankful for playing LoR after reading Ryoshu's Canto, the worldbuilding makes SOOOOO much sense. Especially because in LoR, the Fingers have major appearance. Now I understand why hardcore Project Moon fans wait for her backstory reveal.
And? I don't blame LoR player for considering Limbus is waaaaaaaay way more lenient, Vertical Difficulty Spike is worse. Thankfully my experience ease the gameplay up to Urban Legend level. Urban Plague? Oh boy. The same team that I praised for being meta carry in Limbus: Dawn Office, ragebaited me. I've finished The Carnival (insert Roland's famous meme), Full Stop Office, and Gaze Office... Hell nah. Salvador's two dice slot. I was facing Abnormality in Malkuth and Yesod's floor, thinking I could bring 4 librarians to Dawn Office reception, but no. Three librarians only. Okay.
Funny cuz looking at the original Dawn Office, I was thinking "yeah no wonder they have so many unopposed attacks in Limbus". The members are rushing to kill one enemy, lol.
That's Library of Ruina. Next one... Field of Mistria. FoM. LoR.
Today I managed to reach Mining Floor 60 and unlocked Deep Woods. Who else is that for? March, of course. Yeah make sense why his 8 Heart Event requires both the mining and Deep Woods. Personally though, I find the writing a bit corny, Damsel in Distress situation. Do I gain understanding about my own taste through all this difficult grinding? Yes. One thing I realized: March's personality is literally a cat. lmaooo
Yeah, I had good times, although my tunnel vision towards one specific goal made me neglecting everything else. In-game, if I'm bored enough to log-in for next few days, my priority might shift for now. Need to do tasks that are not related to March, since I won't immediately marry him. Raising other NPC's heart, hm hm. I'm that kind of person who would think "yeah I can focus on (specific task) next year".
Also from what I gather, my friends are rushing in The Mine. I'm definitely left behind, had my main interest is not romancing March then maybe I will neglect it unless necessary. Compared to my friends, my fishing level is waaayy ahead. Why? I like depleting stamina with fishing. Yeah fishing consumes too much stamina, but I find the activity relaxing. Not to mention March's favorite foods are mostly fish-related :) Mining might be not your partner's favorite endeavor, at least he can cook you good foods (wink).
I'm thinking about drawing some gag that popped up in my head while playing FoM (such as Altair stared intensely whenever March and Ryis were hanging out), but... will a plan stay as a plan forever? Who knows.
