..Admittedly, I am very impulsive.
My boyfriend pushed me to create local bank account because despite living for quarter century already, I did'nt have any. The reason is: I was terribly terrified with the idea of video call verification, what if I look ugly? Before today, my only personal bank account is in SeaBank (which originated from Singapore?), for withdrawing PayPal balance. The other one—yes, it is local bank—but registered due work mandatory, to receive financial aid from government. Doesn't sound as happy as it seems, this year the money is issued less frequently and consistently than before.

Pertama, bank BCA. Entah apa masalahnya, tapi pengajuan rekening ditolak karena.. ada masalah dengan e-KTP? Salahnya, gw tidak memakai earphone ketika verifikasi video call, jadi gw tidak bisa mendengarkan wasweswos CS yang luar biasa cepat. Ditambah, melihat review dua bank cabang terdekat di Google Map, kenapa jelek sekali? Kebanyakan karena "CSnya tidak ramah". I think I dodged a bullet here.
Kemudian, coba Mandiri. Beberapa orang yang kukenal pakai Mandiri, tapi adikku katanya harus ke kantor cabang, jadi tidak kucoba dari jauh-jauh hari. Ternyata registrasinya lebih mudah, tidak ada verifikasi Videocall lagi. Agak nyesel ya kenapa nggak dari dulu aja. Toh Mandiri juga ada VISA, awalnya coba BCA karena kupikir cuman disitu aja punya Debit Mastercard.
